How your information is handled.

What is collected

This website does not run analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of its own. Browsing these pages does not create a record tied to you.

Information is only collected when you choose to give it, in three places:

• Opening the worksheet. To unlock the Recenter Path Worksheet you enter a first name and an email address. That much is recorded as soon as you unlock, whether or not you go on to finish.
• Sending the worksheet. If you press Send my answers to Jennifer, everything you typed into the five questions is submitted along with your name and email, and stored so that Jennifer can read it.
• The private coaching interest list. If you ask to be notified when one-to-one coaching opens, your email address is recorded separately, so it is clear why you joined.

If you email Jennifer directly, she receives whatever you choose to write.

Your worksheet answers

The worksheet asks personal questions, so it is worth being exact about what happens to the answers.

• While you are writing, your answers are saved in your own web browser on your own device. Nothing has been sent anywhere at that stage, and clearing your browser data erases it.
• Nothing is submitted until you press send. If you close the page, print a copy and never send it, Jennifer never sees a word of it.
• When you do send it, your answers are stored in a password-protected area of this site's hosting account. Jennifer Cook reads them. One other person — the family member who maintains this website — has administrative access to the same account and can therefore see submissions. Nobody else does.
• They are not used to sell you anything. Your answers are not published, quoted, shared with other businesses, used in marketing, or fed into advertising of any kind.
• They are deleted on request. Write to LostToAligned@gmail.com, say you would like your worksheet removed, and it is removed. You do not have to give a reason.

Who processes this for us

This website is hosted by Netlify, and the worksheet and signup forms are handled by Netlify's built-in form service. That means your submission passes through and is stored on Netlify's systems, under their privacy policy and terms, before Jennifer reads it. Email newsletters, if you have opted into them, are sent through a separate email provider that holds your name and email address for that purpose only.

Neither service is given permission to use what you wrote for its own purposes.

How it is used

• To open the worksheet for you and send you the link back to it.
• To let Jennifer read and, if it seems welcome, personally respond to what you wrote.
• To send occasional emails from Jennifer about From Lost to Aligned.
• To notify you if and when private coaching opens, if you asked for that.

Leaving, and being forgotten

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also write to LostToAligned@gmail.com and ask to be removed, ask what information is held about you, or ask for your worksheet answers to be deleted. Any of those requests is honoured without argument.

What this site is not

From Lost to Aligned shares educational and personal-development content. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, mental-health care or emergency services, and nothing here creates a clinical or therapeutic relationship. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.

Children

This website is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from them.

Changes

If how information is handled changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change with it.
